Can i add guppies and swordtails and angel with gold fish. Coz tolf me that he kept goldies and swordtails and guppies all together in the same tank. He has a heater which is 27 degrees celcius. Can i have them toether? Yes or No
No goldies won't like the higher temp, while in theory they could *survive* for a while together, for your fish to *thrive* they should be kept seperaley
it';s unlikely that they will fight, however they're water and food requirements are so different that they should be kept seperatley. Compatibility is about a hell of a lot more than just weather 2 fish will fight or not.
best bet is to rehome the angles, guppies and swords if u already got em with goldfish... Goldfish are naturally cold water fish and prefer temperatures from 64-68F, anything higher than 68F weakens their immune systems and could cause sever stress that could lead to death.
And the higher temps will lead to the goldfish having a higher metabolism, therefore reducing their lifespan (halving it apparently), increasing their appetite and tripling the amount of waste they produce, leading to ammonia spikes and very poor water conditions.
So no, they shouldn't be kept together. It is possible, but it isn't what's best for them (or the other fish).
