Hi! Sorry about sooooo many questions but i've become quite attached to my fishies!! My nitrates have been at 5 for 2 days now. I'v e had my water tested 3 times in the last week by the lfs and all times they have said no ammonia. Well when I tested this morning at home it came up .25, is that bad? I've had my tank 3 weeks my fish seem to be doing really good but I know it should be 0 ammonia. I was hoping it was almost done cycling and was told to leave my water alone. Should I do a PWC and add prime or stresscoat, stresszyme? or leave my water alone and add something? The last time I added prime was 2 weeks ago so I've already put 2 doses in. Thanks!!!!!!! Leah

Any ammonia above zero is very, very bad as ammonia is deadly toxic to fish. If you haven't done so already, have a read of the article in my sig - it will explain the background to cycling a tank and give some tips for getting through this unscathed.

Thank you Anna!! That's what I'm going to do a 10% change everyday until they both come back 0. Thanks!! Wonderful article by the way. :p Leah
