Is 80 F To Hot?

Ive been keeping my tank at around 80 F latly but im wondering do you guys think this is to hot?

Sounds OK to me - my tanks are kept around this temp without problem.

I've even had them hovering around 84-87 during most of summer without loss - dunno if the fish were all that happy about that though.
 
Depends on the fish. Some fish can tolerate high temperatures for a few hours or days but eventually it wears on them and they die. I have Clowns and an RTBS at a steady 80F but my Cories are at 74-76F and my Kuhlis are usually around 72-74F. My Zebras are at 76F.
 
Then what would you say is a good general temp? 75?
 
it all depends what fish you have, in the summer my tank ranges from 78-82 F and i never had a problem.
