Please help me decide which fish to keep and which to take in the lfs.
For a 30-g, HOB filter rated for a 70g, sand, lots of caves, driftwood and lots of artificial plants...

I am keeping:

1 3-spot gourami
1 thick-lipped gourami
2 weather loaches
1 female kribensis

What I can add to the tank:

4 congo tetras
6 lemon tetras
1 angelfish
1 male gold wonder killifish
4 platies (1m, 2fm)
1 curviceps (dwarf flag cichlid)

Which fish would you add? I am leaning towards the congo tetras and the killifish (he's such a sweety!), but I'm not sure if that would overstock it too much.
So.... what would you do? Any opinions appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

ok i would remove the 3 spot. will get to big and bulky for your tank imo.

i would also remove the 2 weather loaches as there more cold water(20c or less) not tropical.

then you have

1 thick lipped gourami
1 female krib

congo tetras get fairly large would bother

lemon tetras - yes i would get some of then 6 or more.

angelfish - yes, one would be fine BUT only if you remove the gourami.

male gold wonder killifish - yep, would be fine with angel or gourami

3 platies (1m, 2fm) - once again yep will be fine.

1 curviceps (dwarf flag cichlid) - no wouldnt add.

ok you dont really have any bottom dwellers. so id add some corys and maybe a bristlenose

this would leave you with

1 Thick Lipped Gourami OR 1 Angelfish
6/8 Lemon tetras
1 Killifish (might want to get a pair)
1 Kribensis (might want to get a pair)
6 Bronze corys
3 platies

that will be fine ;)

That sounds pretty good.... after thinking on it a while though, I think I'll trade the lemons for some more harlies and put them in there (the harlies are in my 20-g right now).
What do you think about trading the weather loaches for a peacock eel?

Thanks for making the decisions for me!!
LOL
