Ick Questions

I had 2 fish come home with Ick before i realized what it was. The firgure 8 puffer and the plecostomus both have it. I bought some blue Ick stuff that I put 10 drops a day into the tank, do that for 3 days then do a 25% water change and continue treatment if need be. Well within a couple days the Ick claimed both of there lives. I removed the fish... gave the rope fish a good home and moved my 2 cichlids to a 20gl tank which start cycling yesterday (don't flame, i already own the fish and they cannot go back). My question is now I have a 10gl tank with water and the filter still running... I removed all gravel so its just the water and the filter. What do I need to do to this tank to make it fish ready

No expert but id recommend removing everythin, including water, then cleaning it all very well.
