Ich :(

Hello everyone,

I just recently noticed that in my tropical tank, my fish have the little salt-like speckles, which I know is Ich.

I've raised the temperature slowly to 86 degrees as I've read, and I've always added salt.

I also want to use a medication, but I wanted to ask which specific type of medication have you all had the most success with.

How many gallons or litres in the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

It depends on which fish you keep when using salt.
Also location with help with a med.

Only ahd whitespot once and I used anti whitespot med by interpet.

Thanks for the reply, sorry I haven't had a chance to write again for a bit. But crisis solved! I used Kordon's Rid Ich+ and it worked fantastic over a course of 3 days of 25% water changes every 24 hours, and another 3 days of 25% every 12 hours, and some extra doses of aquarium salt. Unfortunately I had a few losses of fry, but one of my females burst out 30 today, so I think I'm pretty set. I'd like to thank the forum, as I read up on practically every related Ich post. You all saved my fishes!
