Ich Treatments

I read through some of the threads and i've started my treatment 2 days ago, and today is the 2nd pouring of the api ich medication. so far everything seems okay (i hope the ich is going away lol)
i raised the temp and it's showing about 85F or so now i have a question here.

is it best to keep the lights off or on during the treatment? ty.

Something to do with the light and meds.
I would keep the tanks light off, or just have them on to take a good look at the fish to see if the spots are going.

is it recommended to do another dosage after the first treatment?

Just follow the instructions.
Sometimes it can take two round of meds to get rid of whitespot.
have you increased aeration in the tank with the high temp and med.

only aeration is coming from my filter, which is set to high (200gph). and the temp is well over 85F right now. They seem to be doing okay so far, but i noticed one of my cardinals the white spot he had on him is gone and it left him with a bald spot where it was so no scale in that area. I'm sure he will be okay tho he is eating and swiming just fine.

Keep an eye on the wound to make sure it dosn't get infected.
