Ich Med Question

I have completed my teatment for ich using Maradel's MAracide treatment but the package says that to make sure that the ich is gone to buy Maracyne two which is for fin rot etc. and use that is this necassary because i think that what I used was just a spot on treatment to the fish and not their environment? ALso di i need to dissinfect my buckets of ick or would it be dead in them?

Maracyn is for bacterial infections not whitespot.
Do you mean maracide.
Ich can cause bacterial infections like finrot, if fish are ok and have no other symtoms you don't need the maracyn.

YA i meant the maracide for ich but then the package said to use the Maracyn after just to clear everything up right now I don't soo any other signs of infection except for some of my neon tetras gills look a little red but that might be normal for them.

No its not normal to have red gills.
Bad water quality to gill flukes.
How long have they had the red gills.

no not really I am not sure how long the gills have been red but I am going to treat with maracyn because one of my tetras is starting to get a wite tip on his fin. Also do you know if i can still fertilize my plants while giving meds?
