My girlfriend recently bought me some more fish for my tank which ive had for 5 years. I currently have 2 Bala sharks, 6 tigers, 1 fighter, 2 clown loaches and 6 zebras. There are all in a 100 litre tank. She bought me 4 neons which seemed to die very quickly. We then noticed that other fish were getting many white sports over them. Out came the Interpet Anti White Spot and the temperature increase came. I'm now a week after noticing the first spots and 5 days into treatment. Both loaches have died, and two zebras have died.

My fighter is covered in white spots and looks like he isnt going to last much longer. However my sharks are really bad but seem to be still ok (swimming and eating normally!). I'm also looking at their backs and they seem to be getting worse? I've attached some photos of the sharks.. what do you think? Is it advanced ich or something else?? It's very strange as the tigers dont appear to be getting anything at all?

Thanks for help and advice in advance

Bala sharks and clown loaches need to be kept in groups and need large tanks of 90 gallons.
Have you raised temp to 30 and increased aeration.
It can take two rounds of meds.
Have you used the full dose.

Hi

Yeah Ive raised the temperature to 30 degrees and Im on the 2nd part of the first dose. Ive increased airation through increasing the pump and added an airstone.

Only ever had whitespot once and I used the same med, but it took two rounds.
All you can do is keep fingers crossed.
Done everything there is to do.

Yeah fingers crossed.

Thanks for help!!

Well I've lost all my fish now bar 6 tigers.... I'm still treating the water for white spot - and probably will for a few weeks. I'm now starting to notice almost like worms swimming in the water?! What could this be?
