i just got a free catfish and want sure what it was?it has several small white spots near the tail.i also found a picture of it

it always swims upside down

i have it divided from the rest with a tank divider

do you know what kind of cat this is

yes.
very good predator that can fit fish 3/4 its' own body length in it mouth.
gets more aggressive and adept at hunting as it grows.
not suited to a community with small fish
should only be kept with fish much larger than itself.
