I Have To Say, These Are Great Fun

I've just been watching the fishies. I have 6 yoyo loaches which behave like kittens. They play with each other, rollover each other, chase each other. I just watched one playing with a snail. He rolled it aout on the sand, tried sucking it out and generally messed about with it. They have a real joi de vivre. I'm really pleased with them and can highly recommend them.

I did read that they should be kept in groups of 3 or more so I got 6 and I'm glad I did as I think you get to see their true personalities that way. Doesn't the shocking pink gravel make them feel sick?

how fun. the funniest thing i get to see is my one betta flaring at his reflection, the other hiding from his shadow and my male guppy chasing the females around.

Mine do - I've got 3 YoYo's, and they lie down with the Clown Loaches and play dead too, lol

My red tailed loaches are the same constantly play fighting great fun to watch. They also play dead with the clown loaches usually altogether under a piece of bogwood

i got 2 yoyo, when i bought them they were called botia loachs but they r deffo yoyo after seeing the pic, i got 2 great fun to watch

great fish, I've got 4 there manic really liven the tank up, I'm krib tries to keep up with them like his one of them

Botia lohachata is their latin name.

Unlikely seeing as YoYo Loaches are Botia! Meaning that they will rid the tank of anyway unwanted snails! They are fantastic fish with great personalities! From my research though I do know they prefer to be in shoals of at least 3, with a sandy substrate!
