How to care for Christmas moss

I was wondering how to care for Christmas moss it doesn’t seem to grow. I even give it light every day and it doesn’t seem to be working. What am I doing wrong? I read online they were hardy but slow. Could it be the water paremeters?

@Ravenes so I would suggest fertilising a little more. And also getting some snails to help with the algae

I already have snails though and my fertilizer contains copper which kills snails. I know I have assassins and those are carnivores I put them in so they can hunt for pest snails

@Ravenes then you should lower your light intensity or lower the number of hours the light is on

K yeah I do that. I have a light that’s able to go neon
