I'm keeping some free fry that I got from ordering a pair in a sweater box and I noticed that it's pretty dim in there. Can the fry still find their food or do they need some more light? I know they don't like bright lights but I don't want them to starve because they couldn't find their food.

Killifish on the whole with a few exceptions like dimly lit aquaria. As long as the fry tank is not in total darkness then the fry will find their food. But if it were me I would rig up a cheap desklamp and direct it away somewhat to provide a little extra illumination.

I found a dim white light bar that I set so it's giving the tank more light for about an hour after feeding them. They are definitely hunting the microworms with success as I can see their bellies are full. I think I still have all 10. I guess A. Gabunese Marginatum aren't real hard to rear. They are all about 1 cm long.

No not hard to rear at all,
Lovely fish, I bred those back in the eightys they won't provide you with any problems
just keep their tank clean and syphon or use a meatbaster to suck up any uneaten food asap after feeding.
Microworms are fine but newly hatched brineshrimp would be better though.
Nice species.

How long do you think I can keep them in the sweater box? I'm doing daily water changes since I siphon the uneaten stuff up. I don't really have much room right now but will shortly have the space for a few more containers. They are starting to sex out. I have 8 left and 2 definite males.

You Americans have such novel containers, my friends in the States use shoe boxes.
It depends, what size are those a sweater boxes.
