Hi i have a 10 gal and a five gal i wanted to fill up my five gal first .. so i was wondering how many fish Bettas live in there?

1 male on his own. Females can and do go together but you need more room than the 5 gallon

One male in a 5g or one female. If you have a 10g you could do 5ish females or one male.

1 male with some cories, would be nice.

You can have more then 1 male if you divide it.
