Like the title sais, how many fish can i get on a fish tank? 1 Fish per gallon? or it has to do with the fish size? Just wondering lol. I have a 90 us gallon and i got 5 fish there. I just want to know if i could fit more.

It all depends on the size of the fish. Large fish(Oscars, and such) don't follow the 1inch per gallon rule. Small fish ( like Neon tetra's, platies and such) are easy to work with. You have to tell us what fish you got and then we can work from there. ;)

Right now i have Dinosaur Bichir (thats the name they told me at the petstore) , Violet Goby, RopeFish, and 2 Plecos/Algee feeders ( one full grown 10" i think)

the dinosaur Birchir is probably Polypterus senegalus

what are the dimensions of the tank? you seem to have more bottom dwelling fish than anything so the dimensions become more important

Well, those fish in a 90USG may be ok however there are one or two problems -
1)The violet goby is a brackish fish
2) Ropefish like to be with others of their kind
3) I suspect you have 2 common plecs, which have the potential to reach over 12" and produce alot of mess. What filtration you got on the tank?

Just as a tip, what I would do is return the violet goby to the shop
If you wanted to add more fish, I would personally sell both plecs, or atleast one, and buy more rope fish, say 2 more.
So you're stocking would be
1 senegal polypterus
3 rope fish
1 plec

From there you could add quite a few more fish, but dont use the inch per gallon, its not suitable for these types of fish.

Thats just my thoughts on the situation however.

Cool yeah the dinasour is a Senegal Brichir. The violet Goby is my brothers so i would really feel bad about taking him out. Oh btw the dimensions are 48" x 18" x 24". If i keep what i have now would i be able to add a Spotted Gar, Elephant Nose, or Arrowana? Atlease one of them? or 2 or 3 lol?

Dont the plecs help clean the tank?

If the spotted gar is the true gar (and not a lfs name for some fish) then they get too big, like over 2ft. The same goes for arowana, too big I'm afraid.
Elephant noses could fit, but I'm not sure how they would mix with your current fish, and they require pristine water conditions.

The plecs may keep algea off the glass (some plecs stop eating it at a certain size) but they produce tons of waste, no fish can improve water quality I'm afraid.

I think it would be better for the violet goby to be housed in a brackish tank, explain to your brother that that would be best for it, and he should understand.

Whether you like it or not, you are keeping a Brackish fish in Freshwater. If you want the fish to live a full life then you either need a tank for the Goby itself setup as Brackish or re home it. The Plecs as mentioned will get huge and are massive waste producers. You need to think sensibly about fish size, waste production then look at your filtration is it up to the task?

Also No to all 3 of your suggested fish.

My suggestion would be to re home the 2 Plecs (if they are commons) and the Goby (reasons already stated above and by others). Once done then look for sensible fish that will go along with the Polypterus Senegalus & the Rope Fish.

Filter is a AquaClear500. Im giving away my large pleco and maybe my violet goby  . Now what you guys think? I could add new fish? Maybe the spotted gar? or any other odd fish. I dont want the "regular" fish. Any ideas?

NOT the spotted gar. I just found out the gar is cold blooded so i cant have it over 68°
