How old doesa fry have to be to get released out of the breeder cup?

Also, my fry keep escaping from the breeder cup.I check it every morning, evening and night to make sure it is shut securly, and it is, but my 1 fry keeps getting out somehow...How could that be?SHould I get a new breder cup?Please help!

you shpuld relase them when they are big enough so they won't be eaten

Ok.And no i dont.COuld I put it in my 5 gallon for now?(I only have 1 fry I dont know why, when she gave birth she only gave birth to 1!)
