So, I was at my local LFS, and they had some ghost shrimp as feeders in a tank. The tank had some fairly torn up water sprite in it for whatever reason. Because their normal price for water sprite is $10 for a small amount, and knowing that fast growing plants like that will grow from a tiny fragment of tissue, I bought 5 ghost shrimp for $.50 Of course, a tiny water sprite leaf ended up in the bag. The leaf is now producing tiny roots and another micro-leaf on the side. Unless my goldfish decides he likes water sprite, I should have all the water sprite I need in due time.

Just a reminder that a virtually unlimited quantity of a plant will grow from almost nothing if you let it. Sort of like how 50+ guppies will grow from a single pregnant female.

I have so much water sprite I will hand out for free 10$ is a bit much for any plant.. I never by plants more than R7/1$.. ever not even Anubus, I did pay R20 for java fern, but I'm still to get it to grow.. mine is barely surviving.
