how do you sex cobalt blue zebras?

i have 6 cobalt blue zebras.....all about 1.5 to 2" in length.
i have looked all over the net for how to sex them with no luck.
does anybody know

they have to be vented. only accurate way to sex as there is no color morph between the sexes.

okay, this is a stupid question........ but, i'm not sure what "vented" means.
what is vented? )

it is not a dumb question. venting takes alot of patience, practice and a good set of eyes. basically you are checking out the fish's anal region to determine the sex. you need to net the fish and keeping your hands wet at all times, turn the fish over holding it gently but firmly. look at the anal region. you will find two small holes. in the females there will be a round one and a slightly oval one. in the males there will be two perfectly round holes.

may take awhile to get the hang of. not something you can successfully do first time. but it does help to practice. also not every fish is vented in the same way.
