I have a 7G with a male/female pair that are about to have their second batch of fry since I got them about a month ago. I also have a platies in another tank that keep reproducing. I want to issolate the fry until they get big but can't figure out how to catch the damn things. Any ideas?

Net them from behind with a net, i know they are quick but with a little patience, you will get there!!! there is a special capture box that you can buy which you can put bait into it but it's £24-99 a bit steep but i dont know if you would consider it.

I would rather save on the pocket and use a small net so that you don't destory the tank too much!!!

Will I have any problems with keeping endler and platy fry in a 1G tank. The minute they get too big they'll go back into the regular tank.

Hiya

I use a small glass, like a shot glass, with no patterns on it, it makes it an awful lot easier. Plus if they next to a wall you just scoop them up and pour some water out. A net is to big and they can see it coming!!!!

Hope this helps, I find this method really easy.

i had my fry in a small breeder tank thingy were yiu out the female and i got them out of there with my net i was amazed that work andi got them all out of there and put them in my 10 gal tank with no other fish so my 10 gal is a fry tank right now there getting bigger sort of it has only been almost a month one is getting big fast and each of the fish in there is either smaller or bigger than the other

Maybe try and suck the fry up with the gravel vac (gravity feed vac preferably)
