How Do Fasr Eastern Fish Farms Work?

hi ive only ever seen a few pics of fish fars in the far east but wondered how they worked.what i mean is the pics ive seen show lots of square ponds with nets over head(to stop birds i guess) so how do they breed fish that we would then seperate from parents shortly after birth ( say angels or apistos or egg layers that will scoff the eggs if left with them) cant see how they give personal attention to breeding fish but at the same time produce thousands for sale all around the world?

I don't know but I'll venture a guess.

I bet the reason they don't have to remove the adults (if they don't) is because of the size of the body of water. It's big enough for the eggs/fry to survive their parents tender attentions.

The water's probably got plenty of food and cover for fry too- not like our 'sterile' tanks.
