Just thought I'd share some of the pictures that were taken on our honeymoon =) We spend 2 fantastic weeks in Florida ... visited all of the Disney Parks (minus the water parks), Sea World, Busch Gardens and went to see the Discovery Shuttle Launch. I honestly can't wait to go back. Expect a picture overload =P

we went last year and the kids loved and we did, we are going back next year it really is a wonderfull place, nice car you had, but did you find it busy, we went the last 2 weeks in june into the 1st week of july last year and it was jammed packed everywhere, that was the only thing that let it down, i thought universal studios was fantastic.

We went the first 2 weeks of June, and it was pretty much empty. We honestly didn't have to cue for any of the attractions, unless it was fast pass hour. If you went at any other time you managed to get in all the attractions (minus some shows) within 10 minutes. I was very surprised at how quiet it was, the theme parks I've been to in Holland and England have been so much busier. The only time you really noticed how many people there were was during the parades, everyone goes to the same area then. And the Magical Kingdom during the evening tends to be busy as well because all those that had been to the other parks during the day come over for the parade and fireworks show. But really, at the start of June it's not that busy.

And thank you shelaghfishface =D

thanks for that maybe we will try 1st two weeks in june next year, hopefully there will be less people there, all the best for the future.

I ma surprised that the little Female Brown Anole let you get that close. Or did you use Zoom? Which ever, great pics ! Sounds like you had a great time!

Both really. She was trapped in our garden trying desperately to get out without much success. We ended up opening the door to the lawn and guiding her out as I didn't want her to get overheated (there was no shade around in the patio area). So I did get really close, but used some zoom as well.

A couple of days later we had a tiny one on the door at night. Thankfully it moved onto the wall by it's own so we didn't have to go through the trouble of accidentally letting it in the house and having to catch it.

Its a House gecko! I see them every year i go to Florida! I think there pretty. There fast as hell though. If you know what i looked like, and saw me chasing a house gecko at midnight in a hotel with a dollar store girly looking butterfly net, you would fall over laughing! I also catch Brown Anoles. I have tried to catch Green ANol,es, but they are almost non-existant. Which isnt a good thing. Brown ANoles are a Extremely invasive species and are killing out the Green Anoles. THey are eatingt here food, eating there babeis, taking over the ground ( leaving only the tree's for the Green Anoles), and out breeding them. Thats why i catch them. I dont kill them on purpose. I usually take them home and keep them ( last year i caught about 12 brown anoles and 2 House gecko's . I brought them home, but they got over heated and 3/4 the lizards died ( i couldnt really house them properly anyway. This year if i try to catch them, i will kill them. I will try to make it painless, but they are just plain taking over the Green Anoles territory.

* NOTE* - Yes, they are VERY VERY hard to catch.

Cool pictures of my home state. Glad you had a great time here! Those anoles are EVERYWHERE!

Krib, if there are a lot of people around, the anoles are much more personable because they are used to people. :)
