Hmmm... What Is It?!

Evening,

Been to LFS and well fell in love with a pair of what they described as Peaceful Earth Cichlids.

Bought them and they seem to have settled in well. Only i was looking for anything else they may be known as but i cant find anything on them!

They have the same shape as dwarf cichlids and rams, and are a goldy colour with a black splodge near the head.

Anyone know what i'm babbling about? Please shout if you do!

Nope, Although the piccy on the link you provided is the right shape.

More yellowy gold. And more of a splodge!

Are you sure they were labelled as "peacefule" and not "Pearlscale"?

Geophagus brasiliensis is often called the Pearlscale (Eartheater) Cichlid.
