Is it true that they will soon stop importing it to the UK? I love Hikari!

It's probably been well over a year or so now that they've stopped the import of Hikari. But if you keep your eye on eBay, you'll often find some (perhaps at a price).

The last import of hikari foods was snuck past customs in september, and as was to be expected, completely bought out by shops within 2 weeks.

Apparantly, it should still be imported at some point in the future, but nobody knows when that will be!

Hi there,

Some of the ingredients used in the Hikari foods were not on the EU register of permitted foodstuffs/ingredients.

I have heard many reasons as to why, i have even spoken to reps of hikari who gave me two completly different reasons. One as mentioned above. No one really seems to know or be letting on!

The last thing Hikari told the shop I work at was that it will be back in stock from the end of june onwards, but they have made empty promises since april last year!

Its a shame because my fish always loved the hikari carnivore pellets.
