HELP

Just set up a tank and left the water standing, with everything going, for a couple of weeks. We put 5 or 6 fish in and then noticed that some white furry stuff grwing on the heater. The fish look crook. HELP QUICK!!!!

hi there - welcome to the form now - just a few questions so that we can get some more info - did you do anything to cycle your tank in the weeks you set it up, how big is the tank, when did you add the fish, what sort of fish are they and how do they look crook? and one last question - have you tested the water in the tank for ammonia, nitrite etc - if you haven't got a test kit the local fish shop will often test your water for you.

Things seem to be better now...cleaned the algae. Fish seem happier. Thanks for the advice.
