hey looking for a bit of advice on my tropical fish tank, had it for just over a year now and not had on bit of bother with it until last month, when one of the fish died, again today i found another one dead but it had been eaten by the other fish, now all my fish are gasping for air, looking not so active and there fins seem to be diffrent maybe a bit damaged looking, one of the parrots have what looks to be slight brusing on its side, looking for a bit of advice to what could be the matter with them and if the dead fish could be the cause? and if anyone has any ideas of a cure ? thanks

If their fins look like they have a "dark" lining to them then more than likely its ammonia issues because that would correspond with them gasping. What are your stats? Ammonia/nitrites/nitrates etc. temp, size tank, and "neighbors"

Do you have good water circulation? Maybe it could be lack of oxygen... If it is ammonia i recommend a LARGE watyer change

Thanks for the great advice, my ph was very low i reckon thats one of the problems with it, done a 50% water change and the fish have improved in health with the looks of things :# thanks a lot :D :)
