Help With Pronunciation Please

I've always wondered the correct pronunciation of the scientific name for Angelfish, Pterophyllum.

I think its either ter-off-ilum or per-off-ilum, but i'm unsure.

Any suggestions?

Here's the pronunciation guide from cichlidforum.com, fairly certain they'd have it right.

tear (as in scare) - eh - fy - lem (as in lemmings) You were pretty close snooks.
Pterophyllum scalare

It seems to have blocked all the vowels for some reason, but i can get what i need from the fact it starts with 'T'.
