Help With Ich

can anyone help. my whole tank is infested with white spot.i bought a gn plec on saturday and it started from there. yesterday i done a 40-50% water change and started a treatment of white spot control. looking in the tank this morning it seems the white spot has spread like wild fire. is there anything i can do to save my little fishy friends ???

just to add to above i noticed both my plecs are not infected.

Up the temperature to 30c slowly if not done so already and keep the overhead light off
Gravel vac half the tank water out before adding each new dose.
Watch out for secondary infections such as fungal and bacterial.

Just noticed the clam...is it in the same tank? The meds might kill it so move it out.

yes the clam is in the same tank. current temp at the mo is between 25 and 26 degrees celcius

You need to raise temp like black angel has said, also don't forget to increase aeration in the tank.
