Help Stocking A

the tank is 29 gal and the only fish atm are 5 albino corries and 9 neon tetras. i need help to decide what else to put in there.

some fish ideas:
small pleco(not sure on which one)
an angel
some guppies(male only)
more neons
glo lites
cardinals
black neons
south american bumble bee catfish
a pair of german blue rams


so ya could any of u guys help me decide what to go with and in what numbers and all that. your help will be greatly appreciated.

looks like your almost stocked i have 3 albinos 6 black neons and 4 mickey mosue platy (20g)

i really like the black neons they are really peaceful

but of course corys are my favs they are soo fun to watch i would get some more cories if i was you

u may already know, but just to be sure, you do know neons are angels natural food and there is a good chance that they may snack on them? though apparently it depends on the angel.

Personally id go with just a larger school or one type of tetra (it looks less messy and they will probably be happier) and mabey a pair of rams. My advice is to stay away from the angels though, they can be really aggressive and will at some point most likely outgrow your tank, good luck

well ive been think and i think im gonna go with this:

5 albino corries
15 neon tetras
1 pair of german blue rams
and 3-5 male guppies in various colors

does that sound good?

you said south america tank? guppies aren't from the south america?

personally i would go with your set-up just not with guppies (BTW you'll need at least 5 male guppies to prevent aggression between them)

maybe you could try soemthing else? from the south america.... hatchet fish come to mind.

EDIT- went wrong lol thought you were planning amazon so, i had amazon down so had to change them all to south america, i still think you should go with an amazon type tank though, but i've gone off about guppies when i shouldn't of lol, ignore it please.

I'd go with your last stocking list, but put in a trio of rainbows (dwarf, neon, blue) instead of the guppies. Don't know if they're south american or not, but they sure are pretty. Otherwise, I'd go with some hatchets.. nice silver color.
