Hello SPOOKYBOY....Welcome to the forum...I'm sure you'll get some great advise if you post your question in the Cichlid Forum.....but I think one of the best practices I've heard is to get a small tank (10 gals) and use that to house your feeders for a couple of weeks before feeding them to your Oscar. By doing this you get the time to see if any of the feeders are sick or diseased and you can medicate them. Remember your fish is what he eats, if you feed him sick feeders he will most likely contract the same disease....good luck and enjoy the forum
