Hey guys, I have jsut started to cycle my new tank about 5 days ago but Im not very happy.

It was all going very well, the water was clean and the temperature was pretty good I think.

Then all of a sudden the water has gone a little bit cloudy and the water has gone cold aswell.

What temperature should I be running on to accommodate some fish and what is all the cloudiness about?

The cloudiness shows you that the cycle is working, i.e. ammonia is present etc..

is your heater working properly? for a cycle the temp is really all that important IMO but for fish, in the main, your looking at somewhere between 22C and 28C dependent on the species you keep
