I know stocking questions can annoy you all sometimes but i really just want some good advice to have a good looking tank with no problems

Please and thank you!

2 mollies aren't enough. I assume you are thinking 1 male + 1 female. the female would be stressed out in the males pursuit to mate, but i think 2 female mollies would be ok. Plz correct me if i'm wrong.

i dont really want more mollies. But i wont get rid of the two i have because they are special. My sister put them in while i was in the middle of my fishless cycle when i had huge nitrite levels and they survived and are happy. Otherwise i really dont want more mollies.

I was wondering if i could put a rainbow shark. Anyone know if it would work in one of the above combos?

Please can i get some more input if u all wouldnt mind.

yea i just did my own research and i decided against it.

Still open to more opinion about the starting question.
Thanks

yea im leaning to option two after looking at the rams. Rams will make an amazing center piece i think.

I hear rams are hard to take care of, are they really that hard?

I have an lfs near me that sells local bred rams, would those be easier to take care of and better to get?

Rams aren't that hard to take care of, as long as they have very clean water. Local bred rams are much better to get imo, because they will be used to the water in your area.

I agree. Not hard at all. Just keep the water clean, and make sure they have enough room. If they are in cramped quarters they'll start bickering, which of course leads to stress and then probably death. Mine are fantastic... and I'm not a great keeper of fish, so they must not be as difficult as some say! :p
I'd also say go for the local yocals.... always better than those that have to travel.
Post some pics when you get it all set-up... sounds like it'll be nice.
