Hello all, I have been in the Betta world for about 10 years now, I have owned many Bettas and most of them live untill 5 years old. I recently had my fiancee buy me some female bettas as I wanted to try and Breed my male (he is just a Betta Splenden but BIG 1/4 bigger then they are supposed to get). anyways My fiancee bought 4 female bettas so we conditioned them and bought a breeding tank to put into the big tank. We then Put the female in the Breeding taank only to find out they arent female Bettas they look like female Bettas But dont act or Breed or eat like a female betta. They are called Betta Edithae?? any info on the Breed /species at all is helpfull!

Haha, I want some!
Maybe you got a pair out of those 4 :p

Wow what a nice surprise, seriously how would stores get wild types mixed up. Awesome surprise, I would love to be surprised like that with wild types.

If anyone wants them speak up, I dont want to return them to the store and YES there is atleast one male in there
the females are the aggressive ones with this species I guess and the Male holds the eggs in his mouth untill the fry are too big to fit lol so I dont know I am going to need the tank (hopefully) I am trying to Breed my big boy (double the size he should be) and if I get fry I need the tank :S
