had posted a while back about an unusual hillstream pair getting wildly colorful...

these are pretty shy, but the 1st two pictures are the smaller of the two, which is less colorful than the bigger one... I can only get pictures from further away from the tank... feeding time, and they are out this morning... 3rd picture is the larger one, from across the room... top side appears about the same as the smaller, but it's under side is reddish orange... adult panda garra, for size reference

Cute! I have no idea what they might be, not a fish I've seen before. What were they sold as?

I think I may have suggested posting on loach fanatics on FB. You have to join & wait for "approval" but only a few days. Loaches.com is pretty much dead, but if Charles Konig (sp?) still checks in he's very knowledgeable & helpful. Many of the old LOL folks are on Mark's FB.

however, both of these are twice the size the included info suggests, so I'm not sure...

That second 1 looks more likely (shrug). Hard to say. Changing appearance is part of the fun of younger fish.
