I curently have a tank with 7 guppys and a bamboo shirmp.
The tank in heavily planted by the way.
Now whenever i feed my guppys they get all hyped up and because the colour of the shrimp matches the colour of the food they sem to think he is food and have a little nip at him.
The shrimp is just a bit bigger than the guppys and whenever they do nip him he just pokes them away with one of his legs or just moves out of their way.
There are no obvious marks or scars on him and he dosnt hide away from the guppys either so i just want to know, will the guppys be doing any harm to him ?
thanks :)

As long as he doesn't look sick or hurt, and if you've had them this way for a while, he should be fine.

If you still worry, switch food brands.

dnt worry about it shrimp have a shell so the fish won't be able to penetrate it unless the guppys develop a row of sharp teeth!! lol
