Hey guys!

my mum got 8 male guppies for her cycled 54L tank and I've noticed the last few days that all of them are targeting 1 trying to nip at his fins, but it's only this 1 he's not bullying the rest or anything like that but they are all aimed at him and I'm wondering if anyone knows why this could be happening. 7 against 1 the poor boy.

They are going to kill him, either through injury or stress related injury, i.e an infection.
do you have any plants or ornaments that can break the line of sight? or somewhere for him to hide? unfortunately some fish are just jerks. In my experience guppies are jerks.
Getting some females may help with the bullying but I done recommend this. Or you could buy more males, with the females, males will be too busy chasing them hoping for sexy times, with more males, there will be a larger group so less time will be focused on this one guppy.
Get some floating plants with long roots, some fast growing plants for cover and rocks and ornaments with holes so he can hide. You could separate him for a bit in a breeders trap till you get these things together. Poor guy.

hey thanks for the reply this is what I thought though we have separated him in a net in the tank and he is doing better :)
