HI

ive got a really pregant guppy she been in the beeding tank for 3 days now i don't know what to do because this is my first guppy birth she really big ang getting bigger by the day u can see her gravid spot from a mile away she look like she going to burst what do i do now leave her in the breedind tank that is 5 gall with heater filter in the corner of the tank rocks every where and some plants so fry can hide.

ps is there any way to triger the birth some please help

Hi there pople good to see you around these parts again If your female refuses to release her babies, you can encourage her to release them by using the following techniques.
1) Change 20% of the water in her aquarium each day replacing it with dechlorinated water which is as close to the temperature already in the water as possible.
3) Feed your livebearer female good quality food, feed her both flakes but also try and supplement this as much as possible with blood worms or live/frozen brine shrimp, feed her a few of them each day.
