Guppies Turning Red

I am not sure what is going on. Some of my guppies got fin rot and so did the betta in the tank. But the guppies turned red form almost one day to next. The whole body is red. (This is all info I have, I have not seen my fish) None of them have died, ammonia is 0 and nitrate is almost 0...forgot exact number. 55 gallon tank. I have ask some people and sya ti might be some kind of bacteria.

Hmm an overnight change to red..
 
How's their behavior?  Is it normal?  Does it look blood-red?  Any chance you can get a picture here?  That would help alot.

Accoring to my mom behavior is normal. And she says its not blood red. And wll oyher than not having a camara im in hospital so i cant really take pictures. Sorry.

It could be a sign that they are in breeding conditions. even my green snakeskin guppy turned blue once
