i was wonering if that guppie fry have different colours because 2 are white see through and 2 are brownish. like a tan. is that bad, they seem alright swimming normailly. u can c a bit through the brownish ones

any advice?

Its normal, guppy fry are usually born very bland colours (which depend on the base body colours of the mother/father of the fry), but develop more colourful colouring as they grow. Its likely that your fry came from at least two different mothers.
PS: this thread should be in the common livebearers section of the forum.

if you're wondering what color they'll end up being, it's all on generations (we just learned this stuff in biology - i feel like i actually learned something useful! ) but say blue was the dominant color and green was the recessive. X=blue x=green. Let's say the one fish carried the XX gene (blue - only gene) and the other carried the Xx gene (blue and green gene). On the Xx gene only the dominant color (blue) would be seen, BUT the fish still carried the green gene. Once you bred them, you'd end up with F1 (first generation) looking like this:

now you want to breed one of the Xx fish to a xx fish - a dominant blue fish with a recessive green fish. Both carry the green gene, but only the xx fish shows it. If you do that you'll end up with something like this:

so you'll get half green and half blue fry. if you decide to breed a xx fish to another xx fish, you'll end up with all green fish.

haha i feel smart now  .

alot easier said than done, it is almost impossible to know if you have a "pure breeding" homosygas fish, (either carrying the "xx"gene or the "XX" gene." and can only be done via strict observation of the variations in the young.

obviously, i was just going on simple terms. my teacher (if you can believe anything she says) said all you'd have to do is breed and watch the offspring. and like do it a few times to figure out which is which. she contradics (sp) herself. alot.
