Guaranteed Peaceful, Easy, Friendly Fish?

Hi. Since setting up my Juwel Rio 125 i've had a lot of issues with the fish i've chosen not getting on with their own species, being territorial, stressing out other fish etc. This isn't through me not doing my research on compatibility, just bad luck I think. I'm about to take a Keyhole Cichlid back to the shop as it is being constantly chased and knocked around by the larger one! These being shy, peaceful fish supposedly. Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions on fish they've kept that are pretty much guaranteed to get along with the other fish in the tank, their own species if I was to buy more than one, also will happily live in a community set up with unchanged moderately hard uk tap water? Thanks!

Also, 1 of the flying foxes needs to go back as the same thing is happening to the smaller of the two aswell. I was told they do better in pairs, yet someone else said they fight with their own species! Arrrghhhh the confusion!

We have rasboras and they've been nothing but peaceful.
We have harlequien and ones called porkchop types in the tank and they get along with eachother just fine. They're schooling fish so you gotta get 4 or more, preferably about 6-8. They don't even chase eachother around the tank like danios do.
Danios are really great peaceful fish as well, but they're VERY active and they do chase eachother. The ones we used to have chased alot but never nipped. Alot of people say danios do nip, but in our experience that was never a problem.

Corydoras can make a wonderful little shoal in a tank, have never harassed any other fish in my experience and usually stay out of the way of the mid/top swimming fish.
I've also had no bad experiences with female guppies, platies or swordtails, though my larger male would constantly chase away the smaller one when he wasn't constantly humping all the ladies.

i just recently bought a pair of honey gouramis. they are peaceful and have lots of personality.
