Hello,

I am just in the process of moving my GSP into my vision 260 It will be the only occupant I have quite alot of cherry shrimp in my other tank but was thinking of adding them into the 260. can the shrimp thrive in SG of 1.008/10.

There is plenty of cover and hiding places but unsure if this would be a good Idea.

Can I also add some BBG in time or will the SG be too high for them if it is too high is there any other fish I could add or am I better keeeping GSP on his own which I don't mind.

Thanks.

Hi,
If you put the shrimp in with the puffer I give them 20 minutes max before the puffer is lovely and round!! I buy river shrimp for my GSP and they get literally ripped apart within minutes of chucking them in the tank.
Theres a few other brackish fish you could get, scats and monos are the most common, and like very high/marine conditions. Also the shark catfish is lovely, but get a group of 3 as they are better in shoals. And again, they should be almost full marine as adults.
Most other fish wouldnt mix with the GSP as they can get nasty as they mature.
Hope that helps xx
