I found this the other day and I think it's pretty nice for a beginner like myself

it shows lots of info about a lot of different fish but also on some seggusts other fish which would be good in a community tank, anyway i thought I would share

Alternatively, you could go right here and support TFF's very own fish index, which is not only rather comprehensive, but also gives you fellow users own experiences in keeping fish! Instead of just a brief synopsis.

This site is much more extensive and helpful , actually the thing I liked about it is it's seggustions on what fish go well together, and that is something that is sometimes hard to get advice round here..............

The first site (Elmers) has some pretty awful advice, such as recommending to put salt in tanks containing SA fish such as RTC and TSN.

Not to mention it tries to instill the "don't worry if it gets too big, you can always bring it back" culture, even when talking of the true giants such as the fish above.

As for its feeding advice of pumping any large or predatory fish full of goldfish, I really don't think that is a site which the forum should endorse.
