Me again! Feel like I'm bombarding this forum! But I'm a total beginner and have found I get 100% better advice here than any LFS I've been to so far (been to 4 - can you believe it? All totally rubbish!)

My tank is planted and my hubby thinks that the gravel isn't deep enough. I think it's ok as more gravel = less water. My gravel depth is approx 2 1/2 inches deep.

Any tips would be much appreciated! :good:

Nice one! Love to prove my hubby wrong (which I don't often get to do!) :D

Love your cat by the way - beautiful blue eyes! What kind is he/she?

Go for it ! :good: All three my tanks are planted and they all have 2 - 2.5"

Thanks! He (was) a Bengal/Siames (75%/25%) - sadly died a year ago in a car accident :-(

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. :( Our cat is just a plain old tabby (but a beautiful one in my opinion) and would be devastated to lose her.

If only you could teach them the green cross code. Happens a lot round here unfortunately. THey just love to hide under parked cars. That's the only thing with cats, you can't tell them what to do or where to go. A little too independant for their own good sometimes.

Thanks for the tip on plants! :)
