Gravel Cleaning

Of course this might have been discussed a no. of times but I am not able to get a suitable answer to my requirement. I have a very fine gravel and am using 0.5 cm dia pipe to siphon out water from my tank. Now the problem is if I put the pipe too close to the gravel, it gets stuck in the pipe. The fish droppings are of course there in the gravel. If I tie a small brush to the pipe and try to brush the gravel that process is very time consuming and of course the problem of gravel stucking in the pipe is always there.

Could you please tell some other process?

You can always buy a Gravel Vac which will suck strong enouth to suck up poop but not gravel.You get different tipe and shapes.

What you can do is take a plastic bottle and cut the headoff and fit it.
