Grass Or No Grass?

I have a 35 gallon hex tank. I plan on putting various tropical fish in but im not sure what kinds yet. What kind of grass would you recommend to use because i wanted to line the whole aquarium with it. What kinds of grass are the easiest to keep, and what fish probably wouldnt be compatible with live grass? Thanks

Are you talking about a carpet for the tank or a tall grass for the background? What kind of lighting system do you have? The hexagon tanks usually are tall and slender so it is difficult to get many live plants to grow even with 3 to 5 watts per gallon as it is a deep tank (usually almost 24 inches in height). The deepness of the water makes it more difficult to get some species of grasses that require bright light to grow well.
