Got My Tank "betta" Help Please

I got my tank today that i was planning on putting a single betta in but im having second thoughts but i dunno so, can i ask these questions.

1. how manny uk gallons is the tank (( Measurements Length= 16 inch Width= 8 Inch Height=8 Inch

2. If i did change my mind on the betta what other fish/ invertebrates could i put in it, ( i mean anything )
