Goldfish Fry

Hi folks, just thought I'd post about my new babies here. I had a spawning a few days ago and though most eggs were lost (which is fine by me), I did save a few. Here are pictures of some of the eggs, and as they hatched tonight there's a picture of one of the fry --as best I could manage anyway!

Well, it helps if you have a definite male and a definite female for starters and it's not easy for most people to tell. Then it also helps if your goldfish go through a cycle of cold-water a few months, then a gradual increase in temperature, 50% water changes and an increase in live/fresh foods. This along with great water quality encourages spawning.
