Hey,

I posted this in Gouramis Section yesterday but had no reply.

Last weekend i finally got my Rio 240 up and running, i transferred my 2 baby BN Plecos in, along with my single X-Ray Tetra (had this dude for 5 years) and my 4 inch albino rainbow shark.

All was well.

Last sunday i purchased a golden gouramis appox 3" in length and a stunning fish.

On monday morning he was swimming on his side.

I thought that maybe the rainbow shark had give him a bash?

But now as the week has gone on, the gouramis and shark are like best friends! They share a cave and follow each other every where.

The gouramis isnt swimming as bad, and 80% of the time is fine. But every now and then he swims a bit funny.

Any ideas what this could be?

To confirm, The Filter and Water was transferred from my 120 Litre, the water stats are perfect.

Cheers

Does he look bloated or thin.
Can he maintain his balance in the water.
Does it look like his tail is weighing him down in the water.
Does he swim on his side.
What do you feed the fish.
What does it look like when he goes to the toilet.
Was he caught roughly at the lfs.
