Gold Ram . . . color change?

Do rams change their color based on mood?

Here are some things I've noticed recently:

• Fore-head is becoming a bright red
• body color is becoming a much brighter yellow
• the blue spots on fins/body are becoming brighter
• ventral fins have become a bold red

Is this natural?

It is very natural,as they mature and become the lords of their own territories they change drastically.Their colors become more intense just like when they pair up and are ready to lay eggs.This i salso a sign of feeling confortable with the parameters in your tank.
I have male gold rams and the "alpha" one looks always more colorful,the forhead is redish and the body color is deeper.
