Gold Nugget Pleco

why does my gold nugget pleco (whick i have had for a week) spend all of his time in the very top right hand back corner of my Jewal 125. he is right by the filter nudging the water line and never seems to move.

when i got mine i never seen it 4 a few days then i only seen him 4 a little bit as it was hiding in a cave but now ive had it 4 about 2 - 3 months its out most the time now

Ive had mine for 2-3 months and he doesn't come out much, if anyone moves near the tank he'll shoot off. His cave is fortunatly near the front and I can still see him to see how he's doing. He eats algae on the glass sometimes and at night I drop in the pellets or tablets or blood worms. He's still alive so assume he's eating.

is it a new tank? they tend to like more mature tanks and can be quite sensitive to changes, if he's new to the tank or the tanks new he could be poorly and not coping very well. If so it's probably best to post in the plec or emergency section and someone will help you.
