I recently "saved" a few Southern Puffers from death and was hoping to keep one. I am releasing healthy one in the Indian River Lagoon friday. He has been nervously pacing the glass. Anyway the puffers i have need smewhere near 3000 liters, or they will feel boxed in. It seems to help reduce nervousness by puting plants and ornaments along the front of the tank. The puffers are not bonkig the sides anymore. i am housing them in only a 75 gallon. It seems like all the fish ive kept that pace the glass always do that on the side of the tank were light shines in. Anyway i want to keep the one that sits around a lot. It tends to stay buried a lot. They both eat very well. The one i plan on keeping no longer feels "boxed in".

i hope you dont plan on releasing a previously captive animal into hte wild as suggested

captive by itself or captive with all your imports?

saving the life of one fish while releasing a foreign pathogen into your local waterways is not good math.
